The mission of Planned Parenthood of Delaware is to ensure everyone’s right to have appropriate information and services necessary to make personal decisions on their reproduction, sexuality and health. Planned Parenthood provides one-third of the reproductive health services in Delaware. We have been offering health services, public advocacy and comprehensive sexuality and health education for over 75 years, currently with locations in Wilmington, Newark, Dover and Rehobeth.

Our Board meets eight times per year over lunch at our Wilmington office. Teleconferencing is available for Board members who cannot be present in person but wish to participate by telephone. Each Board members serves on one or more other communities: finance, investment, development, public affairs, personnel and nominating.

It is expected that each Board member will contribute financially to the organization and to assist in its development efforts in a way most suitable to the Board member’s talents.
